Help for venues

Version 1.0 · effective 7 October 2026

How do venues work on EPlanit?

One account for your business. Inside it, a venue for each location, and inside each venue, the spaces you hire out: rooms, terraces, whole floors. Your founding place and your reviews cover every venue.

Each venue gets its own page, and each space appears in venue search on its own, with its capacity and starting price.

How do I add a venue?

Go to Profile, then Venues and spaces, and press Add a venue, or Edit venue on the one that is already there.

  • Name it by location, for example "Lumière Hoxton", so planners can tell your venues apart.
  • Enter the full postcode, not only the first half (N1 6AA, not N1). It places the venue on the map and on the right London area pages.
  • Write three to five sentences on the feel of the place, where it is and what is included.

How do I add rooms and spaces?

Under the venue, press Add a space for every room you hire out. Give it a name, say whether it is indoor, outdoor or both, add seated and standing numbers, a starting price and how it is charged (per hour, per day, per evening, per person, minimum spend or hire fee), and tick the features that apply.

Type the price in full pounds with no symbols or commas: for £2,000, type 2000.

How do I add photos to a room?

Every space and every venue has an Add photos button. Choose Upload new photos, or Choose from your gallery and tick the photos that belong to that room. Photos of the entrance or the outside go on the venue itself.

Planners choose a room by its photos, so aim for five or more per room: set up for an event, in daylight, from more than one angle.

Where is my venue page?

Each venue has its own page, linked from your profile, at eplanit.co.uk/suppliers/your-business/venues/your-venue. It shows the venue's rooms, photos and reviews, with a Request a quote button. Open each one when you have finished and check it reads the way you want.

How do enquiries reach me?

Planners ask for a quote from a venue page or a room page, and each venue's enquiries arrive in their own conversation, labelled with the venue, so nothing gets mixed up.

If a planner messages your business in general, the conversation has no venue. Open it and use Move to a venue to pass it to the right location.

Can a manager see only their own venue?

Yes. Go to Settings, then Team, and invite colleagues by email. Once you have two or more venues, you choose what each person covers:

  • Every venue, for a general manager or a central events team.
  • Only these venues, for a site manager. They see only their venues' enquiries, bookings, rooms and photos, and can update those rooms and photos.

Your business profile, verification, payouts and the team stay with you, the account holder, and only you can add a new venue. You can change anyone's venues at any time with Change venues, or remove them from the team.

How many people can I add?

Three colleagues, plus one for each venue after your first. Seats are free, and we never charge per seat.

Can you set it up with us?

Yes. Send your room list, capacities and photos to hello@eplanit.co.uk and we will set it up with you.
