Founding Suppliers: what you are being offered

Everything a supplier needs to decide, on one page. It is the same information the site gives everywhere else, gathered together.

What EPlanit is

A UK marketplace for everything an event needs: the people, the kit and the crew. Planners search by what they need, where and when, then message, get a quote they can read, and book. The whole conversation stays on the record as the agreement. Suppliers use it too, to find other suppliers to work with. We open to the public on 11 November 2026. Until then we are filling it with suppliers we have found ourselves.

What a Founding Supplier gets

Everybody who joins before launch, up to the first 500, on identical terms. No tiers, no premium listings, no ranking that money decides.

• Free verification, and Verified profiles appear first in browse
• A permanent founding mark on your profile, with your number

What it costs

Nothing to join, nothing to be listed, and nothing to be contacted. You never pay for a lead. After the founding period, commission is 7% on work a planner found you for, and 15% on a brief EPlanit sourced and brought to you, and you always know which you are looking at before you reply. We take a percentage of money you have actually been paid, or we take nothing.

How planners find you

By what you do, where you work and whether you are free. You set your area and how far you travel, and you are only shown inside it. Nobody can buy a permanent place above you, and there is no algorithm deciding who gets seen. The one paid thing on the site is a boost, £19 for seven days, which moves a profile up its list for that week. It does not change who you are shown to, and it never lifts an unverified profile above a Verified one.

How you get paid

Today, directly by the planner, exactly as now: payments through EPlanit are not switched on, so we take nothing and hold nothing. When they launch, you receive the deposit when you confirm the booking and the balance the day after the event, in your bank in about three working days. Planners get deposit protection, which is what makes them book a supplier they have never met.

What your profile needs

Your name, what you do, where you work from, and two sentences or one photograph. That is enough to be visible. Six photographs of real work, the smallest job you would take and how you price, and quick replies are what get you booked. We draft the first version from what is already public about you; you correct it and press publish, and nothing is visible until you do.

Working with other suppliers

Mark yourself open to collaboration and other suppliers can find you for jobs bigger than one business, or pass you work they cannot take. Passing work on costs nothing.

Your photographs

They appear on your profile, and in one other place: the plans, whole events put together from suppliers on EPlanit, always credited with your name and a link. There is a switch if you would rather not.

Leaving

Your profile is yours. Pause it or delete it at any time from your account. If you were invited and would rather not be, the invitation email has a one-click way out and we delete everything we drafted.
